By accessing or using Thrifteast, you acknowledge that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

• You are at least 18 years of age or using the platform under parental supervision.

• Thrifteast reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

Thrifteast is a marketplace facilitator, not the seller or owner of listed items.

All transactions are directly between buyers and sellers. Thrifteast does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, or legality of products listed by users.

Sellers are responsible for accurate product representation, and buyers are encouraged to review listings carefully before making a purchase.

Users must create an account to buy or sell on Thrifteast.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.

Thrifteast reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraudulent, misleading, or prohibited activities.

Once an order is placed and payment is completed, it cannot be canceled or modified.

Buyers must review all product details, including photos, condition, and seller ratings, before checkout.

All sales are final, except under the specific refund conditions outlined in the Refund & Return Policy.

Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, photos, and pricing.

Sellers must ship all orders within 7 days of confirmation.

Sellers must upload proof of shipment (tracking ID, courier name, and parcel photo) when marking an order as shipped.

Orders in "confirmed" or "shipped" status are automatically marked as delivered 30 days from the order date.

Buyers have 3 days after auto-delivery to raise a dispute if they did not receive the item.

Sellers must refund buyers within 3 days if a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor.

Each violation results in a temporary suspension (3 days). After 3 temporary suspensions, the account is permanently banned.

Thrifteast uses secure third-party payment gateways.

Thrifteast deducts a service fee and applicable gateway charges from each transaction.

Sellers receive payments via UPI transfer after the order is marked as "Delivered."

Sellers must provide a valid UPI address to receive payouts.

Buyers agree that Thrifteast is not liable for delays or losses caused by payment gateway issues.

All products are non-returnable and non-refundable unless the seller fails to fulfill the order or the item is significantly misrepresented.

In such cases, sellers must initiate a refund within 3 days of dispute resolution.

Buyers receive a refund minus payment gateway and service fees within 5-7 working days.

Disputes must be raised within 3 days of delivery via the in-app Dispute Center. Refer to the Dispute Resolution & Enforcement Policy for details.

Thrifteast reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Each violation results in a temporary suspension (3 days):

• Failing to refund within 3 days after dispute resolution

• Marking orders as shipped without tracking ID and proof photo

• Other policy violations

Shipping Reminders:

• Sellers receive reminders to ship orders within 7 days of confirmation

• Orders not shipped within 30 days are automatically marked as delivered

• Buyers can then dispute within 3 days if they did not receive the item

During temporary suspension:

• All listings are hidden from buyers

• Sellers cannot create new listings

• After 3 days, the suspension is automatically lifted

After 3 temporary suspensions, the account is permanently banned and all listings are removed.

Users may appeal suspensions by contacting support at thrifteast.help@gmail.com.

Sellers must mark orders as "Shipped" within 7 days with valid tracking information.

Failure to ship within 7 days will result in daily warnings and compliance flags.

If an order is not shipped within 30 days, it will be automatically marked as "Delivered".

Buyers have 3 days after this auto-delivery to raise a dispute if they did not receive the item.

After the 3-day dispute window closes, the transaction is considered final.

Thrifteast acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed.

Thrifteast is not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions between users.

Buyers and Sellers acknowledge that all transactions are at their own risk.

You agree not to:

• Sell counterfeit, illegal, or restricted items.

• Use Thrifteast for fraudulent or misleading transactions.

• Impersonate another person or entity.

• Post offensive, obscene, or harassing content.

• Circumvent platform fees or direct users outside Thrifteast for transactions.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Your data and interactions on Thrifteast are governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, stored, and used.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thrifteast, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
