Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

1. General Terms
All products sold on Thrifteast are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Thrifteast operates as a marketplace, facilitating transactions between Buyers and Sellers. Thrifteast does not manufacture, own, or guarantee the quality, legality, or authenticity of any product sold on the platform.
Buyers are advised to review product details and images carefully before making a purchase.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only permitted if:
• The Seller fails to fulfill the order.
• The product is significantly different from the description/photos (proven via dispute).
In such cases, the Seller must initiate a refund within 3 days of dispute resolution.
Buyers will receive the full product price back within 5-7 working days. (Note: Payment gateway charges paid by the buyer are non-refundable.)
Failure by a Seller to refund within the stipulated time will result in account suspension.
Repeated incidents of unfulfilled orders will result in permanent account deactivation.
3. Order Processing and Delivery Confirmation
To mark an order as Shipped, the Seller must upload a clear photograph of the packaged product and submit a valid tracking ID from a recognized courier service.
Sellers may mark an order as Delivered once courier confirmation is received.
Buyers may also mark an order as Delivered from their end.
If neither party marks an order as Delivered, it will be automatically marked as Delivered 30 days after the order date.
4. Disputes and Non-Delivery
If the Buyer claims non-receipt of an item, they can raise a dispute within 3 days of delivery.
If a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor and the Seller fails to refund within 3 days, the Seller will receive a temporary suspension.
Thrifteast tracks all orders requiring refunds and processes them to ensure buyers receive their money back.
Sellers are mandated to use trackable courier services and provide proof of shipment (tracking ID, courier name, parcel photo) for all orders.
Repeated disputes, unfulfilled orders, or untracked deliveries may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.
5. Cancellation Policy
Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled by the Buyer or Seller.
Sellers must fulfill the order unless proven that the product was already sold elsewhere.
Orders canceled by Thrifteast due to fraudulent activity or violation of policies will not be eligible for refund beyond what is permitted under Section 2.
6. Dispute Resolution
Disputes regarding delivery must be raised through the Thrifteast app within 3 days of the order being marked as delivered.
Thrifteast admins will review the dispute and make a decision based on the evidence provided.
Thrifteast's decision in case of policy violations or repeat offenses shall be final and binding.
7. Policy Enforcement
Violations of this Policy will trigger the following actions:
• Each violation results in a temporary suspension for 3 days.
• After 3 temporary suspensions, the account is permanently banned from the platform.
• Permanent ban: All listings are removed and the account cannot be reinstated.
During temporary suspension:
• All listings are hidden from buyers.
• Sellers cannot create new listings.
• After 3 days, the suspension is automatically lifted.
8. Limitation of Liability
Thrifteast is not liable for loss, damage, or non-delivery of items during transit.
Responsibility lies with the Seller for shipment and the Buyer for accepting the risk of transit loss. However, direct coordination between Buyer and Seller for delivery is strictly prohibited.
